Another season comes to an end…

It’s easily one of my favorite guilty pleasures… Summer once meant slip n slides and ice cream trucks with day after day of sun. Nowadays, it means Big Brother. Tuesday night was the finale. Blink and you missed me. I was sitting next to Howie and Kaysar. Everyone has been asking me what Howie was shouting during his close-up. Every time the audience cheered, he yelled, “What up Kaysar?” and every time we sat quietly during the commercial breaks, he would yell across to Janelle, “Oh boy Janie!” …and I do mean EVERY time. Some people have a hard time letting go. But he took me as his date after his girlfriend couldn’t travel, so who am I to judge?

Below are a few of my photos from the wrap party. It has become one of my favorite nights of the year. Jessica was exactly who I wanted her to be. My surprise was how sweet and nice Amber was and for that matter Nick. During the finale show, the audience is filled with friends and family (and then me) and the energy in the room was palpable as everyone was trying to see if Daniele’s boyfriend had shown up. I don’t think he did. She and Nick were very chummy at the party, and I have to say it was really cute. I think the boyfriend would have preferred her to have had sex with Nick on the show. She could have said the producers made her do it. But it was over when she burst into tears after finding out she could have seen Nick in New York for the POWER OF TEN taping. I asked Eric if things were still good between he and Jessica and he said, “oh yeah.” So here is hoping. I don’t know how long it will last, but I am glad she got past the America’s Player thing to give him a chance… Janelle and I were talking about how this party has become a reunion. Catching up with old friends. Good thing the Fall season starts next week… or I would feel very lonely with out my BBs. Until next summer…
